Lead Staffing & Resource Manager (m/f/d)

As a Lead Staffing & Resource Manager you own the key process of our business handling every aspect of our staffing and resource needs! We are seeking a results-driven Staffing & Resource Manager to ensure and assign the right talents work on the right porjects with the right clients. You will be determining personnel requirements, providing ongoing support to project managers, and collaborating on resource management with multiple teams within ctrl QS.  To ensure success as a resource manager, you should possess extensive knowledge of resource allocation and ideally have experience in a similar industry. A first-class Staffing & Resource Manager  will be someone who can accurately assess resource needs and provide sufficient capacity to realize projects' goals.  You will be working very closely with the C-Level and the senior leadership Team. This  key role is crucial to the  overall business success and will have a direct impact!

What you’ll do


  • Analyzing, optimizing, implementing, and finally owning our staffing and talent resource planning process 
  • Supporting, enabling, and challenging our leadership team and managers to make the right staffing and resource decisions 
  • Implementing a future-focused and scalable team planning methodology and process that will enable both our rapid business growth as well as personal development growth of individuals in the company, and ensure sustainable ongoing succession planning 
  • Applying a data-driven approach to make key decisions based on business demands and delivery capacity to assure our teams are continuously staffed with the right people at the right time 
  • Using Business Intelligence tools & skills and applying a business savvy mindset to assess, explain and prioritize each resourcing request based on an in-depth understanding of the bigger picture 
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of each resource request and building a bridge between competing needs and priorities by applying excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Continuously optimizing the process for efficiency, transparency, collaboration and scalability as the company continues to grow. 
  • Leading and mentoring the Talent Acquisition Team (3 Team Members)  

What you can offer

As a Lead Staffing & Resource Manager you don’t settle until a solution is found. You must be problem-solving and goal oriented and naturally approach challenges with a data-driven mindset whilst being able to navigate dynamic circumstances and to manage conflicting priorities. Besides that it’s valuable that you:  

  • Have prior experience in operations, account management, project management, and/or program management
  • Have experience in navigating sensitive and complex situations and in finding creative win-win solutions – you can keep tabs of multiple requests and consider different solutions having in mind the impacts of each option
  • Are able to work independently and collaborate with others, while being decisive and driving action
  • At least 5 years experience in resource management in a similar industry. 
  • First Leadership experience in a international environment  
  • Are a strong communicator, capable of adapting your style to different contexts and stakeholders, clearly expressing your reasoning, needs, next steps and expectations 
  • Excellent English skills
